County Department of Parks and Recreation Adds New Software to Online System
Picnics, weddings, corporate retreats and dayuse activities just became easier to plan, thanks to additional software on the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation’s(DPR) online reservations system.
This userfriendly addition to the DPR Web site allows users to check dayuse area availability up to one year in advance and provides access to detailed maps, pictures and descriptions of all locations. Helpful icons increase the ability to navigate enabling customers to better plan visits to the various County operated dayuse parks.
“This advancement allows us to provide higher quality service and more useful information for visitors to San Diego County’s parks,” said Renée Bahl, director of DPR. “Our customers now have access to information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the convenience of their personal computer.”
Bahl said the additional information will enhance the department’s popular online reservation system.
With the help of Art Street Interactive, DPR designed the dayuse system to give customers a convenient means of checking availability. To access the DPR online reservations system, visit www.sdparks.org . Users must call the reservation desk at (858) 5653600 to reserve a vacant dayuse site.
